The BBC iPlayer unofficially available on the PS3

In response to the official notice last week that the iPlayer will be available on the Nintendo Wii, there has been some bite back from fans of other games systems. In one case there is even an unofficial way created of getting the desirable BBC device on the Playstation 3.

The system comes from a Playstation fan site that has developed the demo of what the iPlayer would look like should the iPlayer eventually become available for the games machine.

But as the BBC have already stated the makers of the PS3 and the Xbox were demanding too much from the iPlayer, which means that in effect it is the makers responsibility rather than the BBC for this problem.

Just how long this system will be allowed to run is anyone’s guess, one thing is for sure, there are many games console users out there who are fed up at the moment.
