NanoGeekTech presents: Ratchet and Clank:Quest for Booty Nano Review

$14.99 looks and sounds like a magical series of numbers. There are not too many things that you can really enjoy today for a mere $15.00 including tax. Back in the 1930 having $14.99 was like having a million dollars, today having $15.00 means you can take the bus about 10 times.

Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty debut on the Sony PS3 PSN August 21st 2008 for a surprisingly modest $14.99. "Quest for Booty" begins almost immediately after Tools of Destruction ended. After defeating Emperor Tachyon, Clank has been kidnapped by the mysterious Zoni, and Ratchet and Talwyn are on the hunt for Captain Darkwater, who was considered an expert on Zoni culture. However, his crew reveal that Darkwater is dead.

Your weapons control remains untouched in Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty. The Omniwrench Millenium 12 can be used to manipulate objects with a gravity ray. You will get tons of use out of the Omniwrench Millenium 12 to solve numerous platformer puzzles to push a head to your finally destination to locate Clank.

Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty seems a little tougher than "Tools of Destruction". This can be to help make up for the fact that R&C:QFB may feel a bit short. "Quest for Booty" could be completed in about 4-6hours depending on your style. The play time may turn some off but please take in mind your are only paying $14.99.

The graphics for "Quest for Booty" looks very good, it looks better than "Tools of Destruction". "Quest for Booty" is the closet thing you can and will get to actually playing a Saturday morning CGI cartoon. If you are a graphic whore "Quest for Booty" is the factory that can produce some serious eye candy.

Verdict: Ratchet and Clank:Quest for Booty is a great, short experience that may leave some frustrated and anxious in anticipation for R&C:TOD II fall 2009. Others may see it as the worlds biggest tease. But when the dust settles Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty is worth the $14.99 its as good as an Imax experience.

Recommend: BUY
