Capcom has revealed they have already shipped over two million copies of the Street Fighter IV. The total numbers for the franchise are actually quite impressive: "Street Fighter" has managed to sell "over 500,000 machines and 27 million console games" since the series kicked off way back in 1987. Furthermore, according to GameZine.uk, the PS3 version of SFIV is doing better than the Xbox 360 version in the UK; the Sony version grabbed about 53% of total launch day sales. The English really must love the game, as Street Fighter IV even knocked Wii Fit out of its lofty #1 sales slot, and overall, SFIV is the "fastest-selling traditional beat 'em up" in UK game sales history.
