It's alive, DeepSilver’s formally confirmed it’s to publish Techland’s Dead Island with a release in 2011. The publisher also confirmed that a PS3 version was in the works. The game was previously a PC and 360 exclusive.
The game is set in a first-person perspective on a tropical island. It’ll have a heavy focus on “character development and customisation” as well as a “vast array of weapons” with melee being a heavy focus due to “firearms and ammunition being scarce.”Dead Island will have four-player co-op as well.
