PS3 to get smaller Cell and/or RSX chips in August?

Sony maybe introducing a new slim down and sexy PS3 in the fall. According to T3 magazine and their "well-inform insider" along side with Engadget the PS3 maybe getting a new fresh look in the fall 2008.

This wild fire of speculation could prove true. Engadget is reporting that the PS3 is due for a Cell and RSX chips overhaul. By reducing the size of the Cell and RSX chips this will make the PS3 cheaper to manufacturer. Which in theory may make the Sony PS3 break even by the end of 2008.

As Sony ride their tactical wave of momentum into Holiday 2008 it only make sense to re-introduce a new slim sexy PS3 with a cheaper, quieter, cooler, smaller chip design that has better power consumption.

With many of Sony top exclusives arriving at the end of the year and early next year 2009. It makes sense to introduce a new slim cost cutting PS3 to help stimulate the economy.

that's all I was waiting for bro, slimmer design, sexier body, and CHEAPER PRIECE tag. So my journey is almost complete, thanks for the heads up. Let's just cross our fingers and see!
