The current economic outlook does not look too good for many. With unemployment reaching levels not seen in decades, the DJIA falling faster than a TV child star career and every other house on your block on the verge of foreclosure. Why not invest in a Sony PS3. It may sound like the most ass backward move you can make when the world is on an economic meltdown of global proportions. But, I will try to outline the logic and reason for investing $399.99 plus tax in a Sony PS3 in such murky economic times.

LittleBigPlanet is the perfect oxymoron. There is nothing little about LBP and it has to be the biggest game to arrive on Sony's flagship console in many years if not ever. LittleBigPlanet is the brain child of Media Molecule headed by Mark Healey, Alex Evans, David Smith and Kareem Ettouney all former Lionhead Studios employees.
Media Molecule is currently based in Guildford, United Kingdom and was founded in January 2006. LittleBigPlanet is Media Molecule first major game, the founders worked on the indie-game Rag Doll Kung Fu while still at Lionhead.
